Researchers from Hospital for Sick Children Report Recent Findings in Diabetes

2011 APR 7 -- Investigators publish new data in the report 'Genetic polymorphisms in placental transporters: implications for fetal drug exposure to oral antidiabetic agents.' According to recent research from Toronto, Canada, "The prevalence of diabetes among women of childbearing age is increasing. This will inevitably increase the number of pregnancies complicated by diabetes."
