Researchers at Henry Ford Hospital Have Published New Data on Hypertension

2011 MAY 26 -- Research findings, "Female adult mouse cardiomyocytes are protected against oxidative stress," are discussed in a new report. "Premenopausal women have less cardiovascular disease and lower cardiovascular morbidity and mortality than men the same age. Our previous studies showed that female mice have lower mortality and better preserved cardiac function after myocardial infarction," scientists in Detroit, United States report.
