2011 JUN 16 -- A new study, "Effects of raloxifene on bone mineral metabolism in postmenopausal Japanese women on hemodialysis," is now available. "In addition to renal osteodystrophy, postmenopausal women on hemodialysis are at high risk for osteoporosis. Recent studies reported the effects of raloxifene, a selective estrogen receptor modulator for osteoporosis, in postmenopausal women," scientists writing in the journal Therapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis report.
