Study Data from University of Arizona Update Understanding of Breast Cancer

2011 NOV 17 -- Research findings, "Selective genomic copy number imbalances and probability of recurrence in early-stage breast cancer," are discussed in a new report. According to the authors of a study from Tucson, Arizona, "A number of studies of copy number imbalances (CNIs) in breast tumors support associations between individual CNIs and patient outcomes. However, no pattern or signature of CNIs has emerged for clinical use."
