Researchers at University of Jordan Have Published New Data on Ureteral Calculi

2011 DEC 15 -- According to the authors of recent research from Irbid, Jordan, "This work was conducted to evaluate the safety and efficacy of emergency ureteroscopic lithotripsy in patients with ureteral stones. From May 2003 to December 2010, 244 patients (184 men and 60 women, mean age 45.6 +/- A 12.7 years (range 22-73 years) were treated with emergency ureteroscopic lithotripsy for ureteral calculi."
