Studies from University of Tras-os-Montes & Alto Douro Add New Findings in the Area of Women's Health

2011 DEC 22 -- A new study, "Bilateral ovulation fossa inclusion cysts in Miranda jennets," is now available. According to the authors of a study from Vila Real, Portugal, "Multiple cysts ranging from 2-111 mm were noted bilaterally in the ovulation fossa of 11 mature Miranda jennets. These ovulation fossa inclusion cysts (OFICs) were lined by a simple low to columnar epithelium that included many ciliated cells."
