New Cardiovascular Diseases Study Findings Reported from University of Auckland

2012 FEB 9 -- "Although the independence of the association and causality has not been fully established, non-fasting (postprandial) triglyceride (TG) concentrations have emerged as a clinically significant cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factor. In the current review, findings from three insightful prospective studies in the area, namely the Women's Health Study, the Copenhagen City Heart Study and the Norwegian Counties Study, are discussed," scientists writing in the journal Atherosclerosis report.
