Research from T. Heller and Co-Researchers Yields New Findings on HIV/AIDS

2012 FEB 23 -- Fresh data on HIV/AIDS are presented in the report "Point-of-care HIV testing at antenatal care and maternity sites: experience in Battambang Province, Cambodia." According to the authors of a study from Phnom Penh, Cambodia, "Worldwide elimination of HIV transmission from mother-to-child is theoretically achievable. In Cambodia, antenatal care (ANC) prevalence has dropped from 1.6% (2003) to 0.71% (2009)."
