2012 MAR 15 -- Research findings, "CD44(+)/CD24(-/low) cancer stem/progenitor cells are more abundant in triple-negative invasive breast carcinoma phenotype and are associated with poor outcome," are discussed in a new report. "Women classified as having triple-negative tumors have a poor prognosis.
