New Fibromas Study Results from Harvard University Described

2012 APR 12 -- "The purpose of this article is to evaluate MRI features of ovarian fibroma and fibrothecoma with histopathologic correlation. In this retrospective study, preoperative MRI examinations of 35 women (mean age, 49 years; range, 24-86 years) with pathologically proven ovarian fibroma (n = 25) or fibrothecoma (n = 10) were reviewed by two radiologists in consensus," scientists writing in the American Journal of Roentgenology report.
