Recent findings from Slovak Academy of Sciences highlight research in hantavirus epidemiology

A report, 'Hantaviruses and climate change,' is newly published data in Clinical Microbiology and Infection. "Most hantaviruses are rodent-borne emerging viruses. They cause two significant human diseases, haemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome in Asia and Europe, and hantavirus cardiopulmonary syndrome in the Americas," scientists writing in the journal Clinical Microbiology and Infection report.
