Data on apoptosis are outlined in reports from Japan and the United States. Study 1: 53BP2S-mediated apoptosis could be inhibited by nuclear factor kappa B (NF-kappa B) and Bcl-2 proteins. According to recent research from Japan, "The p53 binding protein 2 (53BP2) has been identified independently as the interacting protein to p53, Bcl-2, and p65 subunit of NF-kappa B.
