Presence of tracheotomy tube or decannulation does not affect aspiration status

Neither the presence of a tracheotomy tube nor decannulation affect the aspiration status in early, postsurgical head and neck cancer patients.

According to recent research from the United States, "We sought to investigate the effects, if any, that the presence of a tracheotomy tube has on aspiration status in early, postsurgical head and neck cancer patients."
