Use of absolute dose-surface histograms in treatment planning may optimize radiotherapy outcome for bladder cancer patients. Oncologists in the Netherlands conducted a study "to quantify to what extent relative and absolute bladder dose-volume and dose-surface histograms of the planning CT scan were representative for the actual treatment."
