Digital Divide is a Myth

"Don't ever believe anybody who tells you that technology adaptation and online adaptation, in particular, is based on race. It's due to other factors," stated Ekaterina O. Walsh of Forrester Research in a panel discussion titled, "Enhancing Cultural Diversity on the Web" held at eHealthcareWorld 2000 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Later in the discussion Walsh stated that the division is primarily a economical one.
