Family sues Montana nursing home over woman's drowning

The family of a nursing home patient who drowned in a Lockwood irrigation ditch has sued the Billings, Montana, home, claiming negligence. Tim Gross, the brother of patient Mikalene Gross, seeks unspecified damages from Evergreen Billings Health and Rehabilitation Center. The lawsuit also names a Vancouver, Washington, management company and nursing home administrator Wanda Tounsley. Tounsley could not be reached for comment immediately.
