E.U. approves two heart disease treatments



June 23rd, 2004

Guidant Corporation (NYSE:GDT) announced the Conformite Europeenne (CE) Mark approval of a new coronary stent system and a coronary dilatation catheter.

The stent system, called Multi-link Mini Vision, is Guidan'ts first cobalt chromium stent designed for treating coronary artery disease in small vessels. The catheter is called the Voyager Coronary Dilatation Catheter.
