HealthSpring’s Ashok Sudarshan to Receive HIT Leadership Award; Senior Vice President Named in ‘Up and Coming Innovators’ Category

HealthSpring, a leading Medicare Advantage plan, announced that senior vice president Ashok Sudarshan was chosen to receive Healthcare IT News’ 2011 HITMen and Women Award honoring him as a top leader in healthcare information technology. Named in the “Innovators, Up and Coming” category, Sudarshan will receive his award at a reception in Orlando this evening.

Nine men and women were selected by more than 2,000 readers of Healthcare IT News to receive these awards. The honorees span the breadth and depth of the healthcare IT industry and include policymakers, healthcare providers, technology vendors and healthcare payers.
