Oakdale, NY, May, 2008 – Management Health Solutions, Inc., (MHS) the leading provider of inventory measurement, data cleansing services and data management solutions for the healthcare industry, has signed a three-year agreement with Universal Health Services (UHS) for the maintenance of the McKesson PMM database.
As part of the agreement, MHS will assume responsibility for maintaining all current item level data, including price and patient charge status, on the McKesson Materials Management Information System (PMM). UHS currently tracks over 400,000 records across all of its acute care facilities. MHS will also work with UHS to convert those hospitals not currently utilizing the McKesson System solution over the course of the next year. Furthermore, MHS will administer the addition, change or inactivation of any vendors, manufacturers and contracts.

Their management and oversight of our item master will allow UHS to track and achieve significant savings through data intelligence.”
