Minnesota Thermal Science announces release of Credo™ Series 4-2168. Revolutionary thermal controlled packaging solution can last up to an unprecedented seven days.
Minnesota Thermal Science (MTS) is launching the longest- duration passive thermal shipper available. Credo™ Series 4-2168 can safely transport chilled medical materials for 7 days. It maintains thermal control in the 1° to 10°C and 2°to 8°C range.
Transportation of blood, biologics, reagents, and pharmaceuticals safely and intact has always been expensive. Credo Series 4-2168 makes ground freight possible for the first time with no need for costly refrigerated transport.
“The Credo 4-2168 is the best thermal packaging unit on the market. Period. We’re ecstatic to present a container that will drastically cut down shipping costs and maintain thermal temperature control longer than anything else manufactured,” said Karl Schlenker, Vice President of Minnesota Thermal Science. “We have employed specifically formulated 4°C phase change material (PCM), the industry’s best thermal management system ensures these high-value materials are neither compromised by heat nor brought below freezing.”
The thermal packaging solution is a box within a box. The double packaging keeps the temperature regulated with Phase Change Material on all sides. The cascading design or cascading phase change material gives an unprecedented amount of insulation. With the latest ISTA standards the Credo Series 4-2168 can meet any chilled temperature-control challenge.
“We have spent the last five years working very hard to make our unique thermal packaging solution even better. With rigorous, scientific testing we have enhanced our products. We want to set the bar high. The Credo Series 4-2168 will be a new era in cost-effective and reliable shipping of delicate materials,” said Schlenker. “Our award winning containers have saved lives from the battlefields of Iraq and Afghanistan to emergency rooms around the globe. The safe and reliable transport of delicate materials is our unrelenting mission.”
Minnesota Thermal Science provides innovative, scientific solutions for the safe transportation of sensitive tissue, pharmaceutical, blood and biologic products. Credo™ containers protect contents at defined temperatures longer than any other passive thermal control product available. They are reusable, environmentally friendly and deliver strong return on investment. Minnesota Thermal Science has achieved success worldwide in technological innovation, customer satisfaction, corporate growth and industry recognition.
