(October 23, 2006) New York, N.Y. – For the 10th consecutive year, MediZine Inc. has been recognized by both the National Mature Media Awards and the National Health Information Awards for its efforts to provide readers with high quality editorial. In 2005, they received a total of 41 awards - 2 Gold, 8 Silver, 12 Bronze and 19 Merit - 14 more awards than last year, when they received - 1 Gold, 4 Silver, 12 Bronze and 10 Merit.

The National Mature Media Awards presented a Gold Medal to Diabetes Focus for its "Complications 101: Hard to Digest" article. MediZine Inc. also received a Silver award from the National Health Information Awards committee for the Diabetes Focus article, "Jump Start" in the magazine/newspaper/newsletter article category.
The National Mature Media Awards is the nation's largest awards program recognizing the best advertising, marketing, and educational materials produced for adults age 50 and over. The awards program is open to all those involved in the production of materials for older adults.
Now in its 13th year, the National Health Information Awards program is designed to establish a seal of quality for consumer health information. The awards are organized by the Health Information Resource Center (HIRC), a national clearinghouse for consumer health programs & materials.
