NetLearning Reinforces Commitment to Health Care Customers - Customer Service Remains Top Priority as Demonstrated by New Economic Empathy Program, Annual User Convention and Next Generation LMS

NetLearningTM, part of Cengage Learning and a leading provider of online courses and e-learning software for health care workers and hospital administrators, continues to reinforce its long-standing commitment to health care customers with new programs including a new Economic Empathy Program and a successful annual user convention featuring a preview of its next generation learning management system (LMS).

Economic Empathy Program (EEP)

In a time when budgets are tight and client services and customer support are more important than ever, NetLearning has introduced the Economic Empathy Program (EEP) to help alleviate financial pressures for new customers. Under the terms of the new EEP, any health care LMS customer can switch to NetLearning and receive an immediate cost savings of up to 25% on their purchase to ease the overall conversion process. With over 28 million course completions in 2008, NetLearning provides more than 500 hospitals and other health-focused organizations with proven technology and workflows backed by US-based development, technical and customer support teams.

“We are inviting frustrated LMS customers that feel neglected by their current providers to join our community of users,” said Cathy Esperti, Vice President, NetLearning. “Our network of implementation and client management specialists strives to champion our clients’ needs and we work hard to find solutions to challenges that our customers face each day. We value the connections we make at our annual User Convention and our clients love the personal attention they receive from our staff.”

Annual User Convention

Customer service is at the core of NetLearning’s mission to bring the highest value to its clients, continuing to invest in customers even in difficult economic times as illustrated by the recent success of the annual NetLearning User Convention. This year’s convention, held in Las Vegas, NV, was a great success and was attended by clients from across NetLearning’s growing user base. The event included guest speakers, training sessions and previews of new products with a highlighted demonstration of the highly anticipated NetLearning Administrator Version 8 (LA8) Learning Management System featuring enhancements based on customer feedback -- an updated look and feel, simplified user interface and workflow, new eCommerce features and more robust report features.

“My organization was thinking of moving to HealthStream. However, NetLearning hit the nail on the head when I previewed the new version of the Learning Management System at their user convention,” said Jason Sheffer, Business Education Coordinator for MidMichigan Health. “They really did their homework. The new eCommerce tools go above and beyond what MidMichigan Health was looking for. It really makes my job easier knowing we have the right product and we’re really excited to work year round with the NetLearning staff.”
